Microsoft Calendar
Sync Pana events to Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365 Calendar, including Microsoft Teams meeting links when online meetings are enabled.
What you get
- Pana workspace events sync to Microsoft Calendar when Calendar sync is enabled on the event.
- Microsoft Teams meeting links can be added for online meetings (virtual / webinar-style events).
- Demo bookings can use Microsoft Teams mode to create a calendar event with a Teams join link.
- Each person connects their own Microsoft account — this is a per-user connection in each workspace.
:::info Microsoft Calendar vs Microsoft Teams notifications
Microsoft Calendar syncs events and meeting links to Outlook Calendar.
Microsoft Teams (under Alerts and notifications) posts workspace alerts to a Teams channel — that is a separate integration. See Microsoft Teams.
:::
Before you start
- A Microsoft account with access to Outlook / Microsoft 365 Calendar.
- For Teams meeting links, a Microsoft 365 account that can create Teams online meetings.
- Workspace membership in Pana.
Connect Microsoft Calendar
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find Microsoft Calendar under Calendar.
- Click Connect.
- Sign in with Microsoft and approve calendar access.
- Return to Pana; the card shows as connected.
You can also connect from Connect Calendar in the app when prompted.
How event sync works
When a Pana event has calendar sync enabled:
- Pana uses your connected Microsoft account for that workspace.
- Event title, time, description, location, and attendees are pushed to Microsoft Calendar.
- When online meetings are enabled for the event, Pana requests a Teams online meeting on the calendar entry (when your Microsoft account supports it).
- Updates to the Pana event update the calendar entry.
- If sync fails (for example, no connected account), errors are stored on the event for review.
Make sure the event has a start and end time before syncing.
Demo bookings with Microsoft Teams
- Connect Microsoft Calendar under Settings → Integrations.
- Open Demo Bookings → New demo.
- Choose meeting mode Microsoft Teams.
- Enter date, time, and lead details — Pana creates the Outlook calendar event and Teams join link when available.
If Microsoft Calendar is not connected, you can still schedule a demo and paste a meeting link manually.
:::tip Meeting link availability Some Microsoft accounts cannot create Teams online meetings. In that case, Pana still creates a normal Outlook calendar event and you can add a meeting link yourself. :::
Disconnect
Turn off the toggle on the Microsoft Calendar card. Previously synced calendar entries are not automatically removed from Outlook.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| Events not in Outlook | Confirm calendar sync is enabled on the Pana event, and that you connected Microsoft Calendar in this workspace. |
| Event has no dates | Add a start and end schedule on the event, then save again. |
| No Teams join link | Use a Microsoft 365 account that can create Teams meetings; ensure online meeting / virtual format is enabled on the event. |
| Demo has no Teams link | Connect Microsoft Calendar first; choose mode Microsoft Teams in New demo. |
| OAuth popup blocked | Allow pop-ups for Pana during connect. |
| Wrong Microsoft account | Disconnect, then connect again and choose the correct account when Microsoft asks you to sign in. |
